About it

Margot's rule is simple: buy less, alter more. These tags make the altering part easy. Try the piece on, pin it, measure from the pin, and write the request on a tag: take in, hem to, shorten sleeves, taper, replace buttons or mend, plus blank ones for anything else. Each tag has space for the quote and the ready date.

Print on card, cut on the dashed lines and punch the circle. Twelve tags to a sheet, in centimeters and in inches, for A4 and US Letter paper. A short how-to page in Margot's words comes first.

What paper should I use?

Card or heavy paper (160 gsm or more) holds a safety pin best, but plain printer paper works too.

Can I print more than once?

Yes. Print as many sheets as you like for your own use.

Is there a tag for shoulders?

On purpose, no. Shoulders are the hardest and most expensive part to alter, so Margot checks them in the fitting room before buying.
